Delete your Sportinzo account

Version 1.0

This applies to the Sportinzo mobile app and web app.

How to ask

• In the app: open Me, then Privacy and account, then Delete my account.
• On the web app: open your profile menu, then Privacy and account, then Delete my account.
• Without the app: use the form below.

You do not need to give a reason.

What happens next

1. Straight away — you are signed out everywhere, you can no longer sign in, and you stop receiving notifications, announcements and reminders. Until your details are removed, your academy or school can still contact you directly about this request or about a child in its care.
2. For 30 days — your academy or school is told about the request. During this time they can cancel it for you if you change your mind; ask them directly.
3. After 30 days, or sooner if your academy or school confirms it — your personal details are permanently removed. This cannot be undone.

We send you a confirmation when the request is received and another when it is complete.

What is removed

• Your name, phone number, email address and home address.
• Your photograph and any personal documents you uploaded about yourself.
• Your password, sign-in sessions and the phones registered for notifications.
• Your notification, privacy and message preferences, and your notification inbox.
• The copy of your name, phone number and email address held on your child's record. If another parent or guardian is on record, they become the main contact for your child.
• For staff: emergency contact, date of birth, gender, salary and qualification details.

What is kept

Your academy or school must keep its own records, so these stay, with your name replaced by "Former parent" or "Former staff member":

• Fee payments, receipts and other documents already issued. Issued documents keep the names printed on them, because they are official records.
• Attendance, session, match, marks and assessment records.
• Messages you sent, so the other person's conversation still makes sense.
• The fact that a guardian was linked to a child, without your contact details.
• Records of approvals and decisions you made as a member of staff, which are part of the audit trail.

Your child's records

Deleting your account does not delete your child's record. That record belongs to the academy or school. To have it removed or corrected, contact them directly.

If you are the only guardian on record for a child who is still enrolled, we close your sign-in but cannot remove your details until the academy or school has another contact for the child, or the child has left. They will contact you about this.

If you are the only administrator

The last administrator of an academy or school cannot delete their own account, because nobody would be left to manage it. Add another administrator first, or contact us.

Coming back

A deleted account cannot be reopened. If you return, your academy or school registers you again.
